Ally Sheedy Bio
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy has been an American actress since the year 1983. Following her film debut in 1983's Bad Boys, she was part members of the Brat Pack group of actors. She also appeared as a character in WarGames The Breakfast Club and Short Circuit. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her part in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art. Sheedy was got married to David Lansbury in April 1992. David Lansbury is the cousin and the son-in-law of Angela Lansbury. Edgar Lansbury produced Godspell. Beckett (born at the age of 14 in 1994) is the child of the couple. Sheedy has learned a lot from Beckett, a transman. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy (born June 13 1962) was an American stage and film actress and the writer of two works. Her most notable roles are on Brat Pack's film The Breakfast Club, and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club by John Hughes: Why? The name "The Breakfast Club" as the title of this film, comes from an acronym that some schools employ to detain students. The students are likely to be detained around the time of breakfast. They are the Next Generation. Sheedy is currently an educator. Sheedy is a teacher of acting classes in New York City at City College.
